What to bring & what’s included
Is there Wi-Fi in the chalets?
Yes, all our chalets have free unlimited Wi-Fi.
Do we need to bring bottled water?
No, all our chalets have excellent-quality potable water.
Do we need to bring firewood?

Location
Our chalets are located in Saint-Sauveur, about:
- 55 minutes from Montreal
- 90 minutes from Ottawa
All are tucked into peaceful natural settings on private waterfront lots.
Nearby in Morin-Heights:
- IGA (delivery available)
- SAQ, pharmacy, bakery, gas station
- Restaurants, cafés, etc.
Driving access:
- Norwegian & Finnish Chalets: Avoid the Saint-Jérôme exit. Use Highway 50 or 640 via Arthur-Sauvé.
- All other chalets: GPS will guide you easily.
Hiking Trails
For the Swiss Inn, Scandinavian, Swedish, and Laurentian Chalets, we provide maps (upon request) for the beautiful Jack Rabbit trail network (175 km of marked trails).

The Lake
Is the water safe?
Yes, the lake is spring-fed and rated A+ for water quality.
Can we fish?
Yes! The lake is home to trout, walleye, bass, bullhead, and sunfish.
Are boats allowed?
Yes — but only non-motorized boats are permitted.
Washing your watercraft is mandatory before launching (160 Route Principale, Wentworth-Nord). Stations open daily 8 AM to 4:30 PM. A permit is required.
Reservations & Booking
When should I book?
As early as possible to secure your preferred dates.
How can I check availability?
All chalet calendars are updated in real time on our website.
Monthly or seasonal rentals?
The Laurentian, Swedish, and Scandinavian chalets are available for winter season rentals. Contact us for other options.
Can I schedule a visit?
Yes — weekday visits can be scheduled in advance.
No weekend visits, please.
Arrival & Security Deposit
When will I receive arrival info?
Once your security deposit is received. Required by our insurer, this is a pre-authorization only (no funds are charged unless needed).
Deposit amounts:
- Laurentian, Swedish, Scandinavian Chalets: $1000
- Villa 2, Villa 3, Finnish Chalet: $1500
- Villa 1, Norwegian, Swiss Inn: $2000

We accept Interac e-Transfers upon request.

General Rules
Can we host parties?
- Residential area chalets (Swedish, Laurentian, Finnish, Scandinavian, Villas):
- No music or excessive noise outdoors
- Indoor music allowed with windows closed and reasonable volume
- Secluded chalets (Norwegian, Swiss Inn):
- Events permitted with moderate noise levels, especially in the evening
- No outdoor music after 9 PM
Parking
Only in designated spots.
Do not park on the road or in front of garbage bins.
Pets
Well-behaved dogs over 12 months old allowed with written authorization.
Prohibited breeds: Pitbull, Rottweiler, Mastiff, Tosa, Malinois, etc.
All other animals are not permitted.
Extra guests
The number of guests agreed upon in your contract must be respected. Any excess may result in extra charges or loss of your deposit.
COVID-19
Guests must comply with all current government health regulations.
