Stay Guide

We are delighted to
welcome you to our chalet.
This manual has been created to provide you with all the information you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in starts at 4pm, check-out at 11am. Please respect these times to allow cleaning and preparation for the next guests.
House rules
- Smoking is not permitted inside the chalet.
- Pets are welcome, but please keep them under control and clean up after them.
- Fireworks are strictly forbidden to comply with local regulations.
- We would like to stress the importance of maintaining the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Outdoor loudspeakers are prohibited at all times.
It is imperative that all our guests respect the peace and quiet after 9pm at the chalet. Here's why:
- Respect for neighbors : Everyone deserves a peaceful night's sleep. Late-night noise can disrupt neighbors' rest and cause frustration.
- Respecting local rules : Many regions have regulations limiting noise after 9pm. Failure to comply could result in fines and breaking the law.
- Avoiding problems : Repeated complaints may require police intervention, disrupting not only your stay, but also that of other guests and neighbors.
Our zero-tolerance policy means that police intervention, fines or even immediate expulsion may be applied.
Security
- Familiarize yourself with the location of fire extinguishers and first-aid kits.
- In case of emergency, call 911.
- Be sure to lock doors and windows when you leave the cottage.
- Safety first: Make sure children are supervised when exploring the chalet, especially in areas such as the mezzanine, stairs and near water. Life jackets are mandatory for anyone approaching the water or using the boats.
- Ecosystem protection : To comply with environmental legislation and avoid the spread of invasive species, please clean your boats before launching them. What's more, some lakes require a compliance sticker confirming that cleaning has been completed. Please check the regulations in force for the body of water you intend to use.

Cleaning and maintenance
It is essential to stress that if maintenance is not carried out correctly, it can result in additional costs ranging from $250 to $500.
Before you leave, here are a few things to remember to ensure that your stay ends smoothly:
Outdoors
- Rinsing before taking a spa bath is crucial to removing excess soap from your body and bikini line. This keeps the water clean and prevents quality problems. As a bonus, it prevents clogged filters and jets, which can be costly to repair.
- After each dip in the spa, remember to replace the cover to keep the water clean and warm.
- Make sure the spa water reaches the level of the jets, and refill if necessary. The filling hose is located either in the basement or outside.
- For safety reasons, avoid using glass in the spa.
- After cooking on the barbecue, take a moment to clean the grill. It's important to note that improper maintenance can result in additional costs ranging from $250 to $500.
- Close parasols to protect them.
- Replace the outdoor furniture in its original position (you can take photos to help you).
- Make sure all boats are properly secured to the dock, and remove anything that might be left in the water or on the dock. Resin Adirondack chairs must remain on the dock.
- Make an inventory of boats and paddles for your cottage.
Inside
Additional note
- Drinking water : We're lucky to have drinking water from an artesian well, but let's be aware of our ecological impact by using it with care.
- Waste management : To preserve our environment, please dispose of your papers in the garbage can near the toilets. This helps keep our septic tank and drainfield system in good condition.
- Respecting local rules : Fireworks are prohibited, but you can enjoy a log fire in the outdoor fireplace. Let's also be careful about noise, especially in the evening, so as not to disturb our neighbors.
- Additional equipment : Need more seats at the table? Don't worry, we've got extension leaves and extra chairs in one of the cupboards.
- Conservation of property : We'd like to keep our chalet in perfect condition, so please don't put anything on the walls or ceilings, except for the white sticker or the blue or green painting tape.
- Internet connection : Need to stay connected? Use the "chalet" network with the password "chaletwow" or "Villas" with the password "chaletswow".
- Hearth fire : When it's cold, adjust the valve to switch to slow combustion mode and enjoy cosy warmth.
Please remember that your cooperation is essential to keeping our chalet in good condition and ensuring a pleasant experience for all. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect.
